Welcome to Auracoonz Maine Coons

We are a small family run cattery breeding Maine Coon cats, located near Norwich, Norfolk, UK. We are registered breeders with TICA, GCCF & LCWW as Auracoonz, & with FIFe & WCF as Auracatz. All of our cats, including our stud, live in our home as part of the family and kittens are raised underfoot. Our garden has been secured and enclosed, allowing our cats access outdoors to play and explore. They are also harness trained and enjoy going out and about visiting family and friends.

Our aim and focus is to breed healthy, well socialised, true to type Maine Coons with excellent temperaments. All our cats are health tested and genetically negative for HCM, PKDef, SMA and FIV/FeLV. Our breeding cats also have annual heart ultrasounds (echocardiogram), which check for HCM and other genetic conditions, at The Queen's Veterinary School Hospital (University of Cambridge).

We are members of TICA, The Maine Coon Cat Club (GCCF) , The Viking Cat Club (Felis Britannica / FIFe), Britannicats (WCF) & Loving Cats Worldwide (LCWW).

Auracatz Fräck Calypso - This girl is only 4 months old! On her debut in the show world at the Strictly Cats Club (FIFe) August show, she was awarded Best in Show on both days.

Recently Athena & Artemis visited the vet cardiologists in Cambridge for their first heart ultrasound for HCM screening and we are happy to say they are clear.

KCH & JCH (FIFe) & RW DGC (TICA) Auracatz / Auracoonz Vacker Athena and KCH & JCH (FIFe) Auracatz Artemis Väsa affectionately known as Athena & Artemis respectively, are half siblings to Calypso.
